Founder of Boston Dynamics (1992 MIT spinoff). Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at MIT; founded the Leg Lab at Carnegie Mellon in 1980. Served as CEO until 2020; now Chairman and Executive Director of the Boston Dynamics AI Institute. PhD from MIT in 1977.
