Martin Roche, MD
Orthopedic surgeon and international pioneer in robotic and sensor-assisted knee surgery. Dr. Roche performed the world’s first robotic-assisted partial and total knee replacement.
He is Director of Arthroplasty at HSS Florida, a native of Ireland trained at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, and previously served as Director of Robotics at Holy Cross Orthopedic Institute. He founded OrthoSensor, Inc. (sensor-assisted surgery) and served as its Chief Medical Officer, and was an orthopedic consultant and design collaborator for Stryker’s Mako robotic platform. He is Founder and Executive Chairman of PeritasAI, architecting embodied AI for the operating room.
