Matthew T. Mason
Chief Scientist and Vice President at Berkshire Grey (2014–present). Professor Emeritus of Computer Science and Robotics at Carnegie Mellon University, where he also served as Director of the Robotics Institute. His research established foundational results in robotic manipulation, force control, and pushing mechanics. Recipient of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Award (2018) and elected AAAS Fellow. Author of "Mechanics of Robotic Manipulation" (MIT Press, 2001).
