Michael Farid
MIT mechanical engineering graduate (BS 2014, SM 2016) and co-founder & CEO of Spyce, the robotic kitchen startup. Farid conceived the idea of automating meal preparation while a busy graduate student without a meal plan. He led Spyce as CEO through its 2018 Boston launch and subsequent acquisition by Sweetgreen, where he became VP of Automation.
He later joined Wonder as SVP of Robotics after Wonder acquired Spyce from Sweetgreen for $186.4M. Named a Boston Globe Tech Power Player in 2023.
