Co-founder and Chief Scientist at IQM Quantum Computers and Academy Professor of Quantum Technology at Aalto University and VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland. Leads the Quantum Computing and Devices (QCD) group; his research produced the unimon qubit, quantum-circuit refrigerator, and ultra-sensitive bolometer. Also co-founded QMill. Recipient of the Nokia Foundation Award (2020), Väisälä Prize, and EPO European Inventor Award finalist (2025).
