Qu Jianguo

Founder and Chairman of Origincell Technology Group Co., Ltd. (also known as Shanghai Yuanneng Cell / OriginCell), a Chinese biotechnology company focused on stem cell and cell storage technologies. Born in January 1954 in Shanghai, Qu co-founded Origincell in July 2014 with the publicly listed company Canature Health Technology Group (Shenzhen stock code 300272), where he also serves as Chairman.

As a well-known entrepreneur, he has led Origincell as its chief engineer, heading a team of PhDs and senior engineers developing automated sample storage and cell banking technologies. His career spans decades in health technology and biotech entrepreneurship, building Origincell into a significant player in China's cell preservation and bio-banking industry.
