Shlomo Ben Haim

Israeli-born professor of medicine, serial entrepreneur, and co-founder of Motorika (2004), a robotic rehabilitation solutions company. Holds faculty appointments as Professor of Medicine, Physiology, and Biophysics at both Harvard University and the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. Born in Haifa, Israel.

Co-founded numerous medical device companies including Biosense Inc. (acquired by Johnson & Johnson), Spectrum Dynamics, Radianny, X-Technologies, Impulse Dynamics, InStent, Disc-O-Tech, and EPD Solutions. Named inventor on approximately 560 patents and patent applications.

In 2014, made a multi-million dollar philanthropic gift to Harvard Medical School for an endowed professorship in cardiac electrophysiology. Received the Medicine Alumni Society award from Iowa in 2012.
