Wang Cong

Chief Executive Officer of D-Robotics (also known as Digua Robotics / 地瓜机器人), the robotics development infrastructure company spun off from Horizon Robotics' AIoT and robotics division in early 2024. Dr. Wang Cong joined Horizon Robotics in 2018, having previously worked at Alibaba.

In early 2020, he messaged Horizon founder Yu Kai on WeChat expressing his wish to lead the AIoT business, and subsequently took over the entire AIoT/robotics team that would become D-Robotics. Under his leadership, the company has raised over $370M across Series A and B rounds and serves 100,000+ developers across 20+ countries with its RDK developer kits and Xuri chip series.
