William Li

Chinese entrepreneur and co-founder/CEO of NIO Inc. (NYSE: NIO), a smart electric vehicle company headquartered in Shanghai, which he co-founded in November 2014. A serial entrepreneur, he founded Bitauto Holdings in 2000 (NYSE-listed 2010, taken private 2020), co-founded over 40 companies across the internet and automotive industries, and is a Managing Partner of NIO Capital.

Born 1974 in Anhui, China; holds a bachelor's degree in sociology from Peking University. Named GQ Magazine's Entrepreneur of the Year in 2017.
