Co-founder and CEO of Hesai Technology (Nasdaq: HSAI), the Shanghai-based lidar manufacturer founded in 2014. Also referred to as David Li in Western-language sources. Hesai supplies lidar sensors for autonomous vehicles and robotics globally and completed its Nasdaq IPO in February 2023, raising approximately $190 million at $19 per ADS.
