Where do delivery robots operate?

Sidewalk delivery robots operate across about eight US metros today, and the footprint is concentrated among a few operators. Serve Robotics runs the widest verified US presence - Los Angeles, Dallas-Fort Worth, Miami, Atlanta, and Chicago - and reports 44 cities in its SEC filings. Coco operates in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Miami, and Chicago. Avride runs in Austin, and DoorDash's Dot robots are in Phoenix. Starship reports more than 300 locations, but those are mostly college campuses and UK towns, so that is the company's own figure, not an independently verified city count. Each operator below links to its registry record.

Two adjacent categories are not counted above: Nuro operates a road-going autonomous delivery vehicle (a different class from sidewalk robots), and drone delivery (companies like Wing and Zipline) is a separate modality.
