Samsung Electronics acquires Rainbow Robotics
Samsung Electronics exercised a call option to raise its stake in Korean robot maker Rainbow Robotics from 14.7% to about 35% (additional investment of roughly KRW 267.4 billion, reported at ~$181 million), becoming the largest shareholder and consolidating Rainbow Robotics as a subsidiary.
