The AI is primary and genuine, marketed as the first native AI glasses powered by a Chinese large language model with the ERNIE-driven assistant as the headline rather than veneer, though cloud-dependent. The ERNIE on-device-versus-cloud split, real-world assistant quality, and sales volume are not verified, and the original 16-megapixel specification from the 2024 announcement was superseded by the shipping Sony 12-megapixel camera.
