Daxbot sidewalk robot destroyed by truck in Tyler, TX 24 hours after deployment
A Daxbot ADA sidewalk assessment robot was struck and destroyed by a truck making a right turn at the intersection of West Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and North Palace Avenue in Tyler, TX. The robot was being directed into a crosswalk by a human operator when the collision occurred. No injuries were reported. A replacement robot was deployed the following day.
