CCTV 3.15 Gala exposes Haima Automobile for fuel consumption data fraud
On March 15, 2014, China's CCTV 3.15 Consumer Rights Day Gala exposed Haima Automobile for falsifying fuel consumption data on several of its models. The company was found to have submitted inaccurate fuel economy figures that understated real-world fuel consumption, misleading consumers about vehicle efficiency.
