ADS crash report in Dallas, TX involving a HYUNDAI Ioniq 5 (NHTSA SGO 31101-15391)
On June [XXX], 2026 at 2:23 PM, an AVRIDE autonomous vehicle(the "AVRIDE AV") was in a collision in Dallas, TX on [XXX] near [XXX]. The AVRIDE AV was traveling southbound on [XXX] in autonomous mode in the middle lane of the one-way street. An SUV was traveling southbound slightly ahead of the AVRIDE AV in the far right lane.
Traffic ahead of the SUV was stopped, and without signaling the SUV made an unsafe lane change into the AVRIDE AV's lane of travel. This maneuver by the SUV resulted in the left side of the SUV making contact with the right side of the AVRIDE AV.
Both vehicles sustained damage. No injuries were reported.
