On June [XXX], 2026 at 3:16 PM, an AVRIDE autonomous vehicle (the "AVRIDE AV") was in a collision in Austin, TX on [XXX] near [XXX]. The AVRIDE AV was traveling northbound on [XXX] in autonomous mode in the far right lane, and had activated its turning signal in order to turn right onto [XXX].

Prior to the interesection with [XXX], an SUV was stopped perpendicular to and to the right of the AVRIDE AV waiting for traffic to clear in order to enter [XXX] from a parking lot. The SUV abruptly entered [XXX] and struck the right side of the AVRIDE AV.

The safety driver attempted to avoid the conflict but was unable to. Both vehicles sustained damage. No injuries were reported.
