On July 28, 2026, a motorcyclist suffered a rear-tire blowout on northbound TX-130 Toll near Decker Lake Road, Travis County, and was ejected onto the roadway. The rider was struck by an SUV (whose driver initially fled and was later charged) and then by a Tesla operating in Autopilot mode; the Tesla driver reported the vehicle did not detect the rider.
