Nvidia x Groq (LPU Licensing Deal)

Nvidia entered a non-exclusive licensing agreement with Groq for its LPU inference technology, valued at USD 17-20B in cash payments. The Groq 3 LPU is integrated into Nvidia's Vera Rubin platform as the LPX inference accelerator. Groq founder Jonathan Ross and president Sunny Madra joined Nvidia as part of the deal.
