Who’s involved
Airbility is a South Korean deep-tech aerospace company developing high-speed eVTOL (electric vertical takeoff and landing) aircraft for counter-drone (C-UAS) and disaster response missions. Founded in 2023 by former engineers from the Agency for Defense Development (ADD), Hyundai Motor Company, and LG Electronics, the company develops the AB-U10 anti-drone UAV, AB-U60 high-speed mothership UAV, and the planned AB-M1300 two-seat personal aircraft. Airbility has raised $7.6M total across a pre-Series A and a KRW 6.5B Series A led by Sazze Partners, and signed a strategic MoU with Germany's Schübeler GmbH for EDF propulsion technology.
