Partnership
Ambarella x Inceptio Technology
Ambarella's June 22 2022 release says Inceptio Technology selected two each of Ambarella CV2FS and CV2AQ edge AI SoCs (four CVflow SoCs total) for the automotive-grade central compute at the core of Inceptio's XUANYUAN truck autonomy stack. Ambarella SoCs process seven 8MP cameras for surround perception and front ADAS features such as collision avoidance.
Inceptio EVP Gary Huang said mass production of L3 trucks with OEM partners started at the end of 2021. Ambarella CEO Fermi Wang said the partnership helped XUANYUAN exceed 2 million kilometers of real-world operation. Frame mileage and production timing as company-stated.
