Parker Hannifin Indego x Ekso Bionics (HMC Acquisition)
Ekso Bionics purchased Parker Hannifins Indego exoskeleton line and the entire Human Motion and Control business unit for 10 million dollars. The deal included planned development of robotic-assisted orthotic and prosthetic devices and transferred the Indego product line to Ekso Bionics.

Parker Hannifin Indego was a division of Parker Hannifin that developed the Indego powered lower-limb exoskeleton for individuals with spinal cord injuries. Licensed from [Vanderbilt university](/companies/vanderbilt-university) in 2012, the device received FDA clearance in March 2016 and CE Mark in November 2015, enabling users to stand and walk for up to four hours. Parker Hannifin sold the Indego business to Ekso Bionics in December 2022 for $10 million, exiting the exoskeleton market.
