Licensed from [Vanderbilt university](/companies/vanderbilt-university) in 2012, the device received FDA clearance in March 2016 and CE Mark in November 2015, enabling users to stand and walk for up to four hours. Parker Hannifin sold the Indego business to Ekso Bionics in December 2022 for $10 million, exiting the exoskeleton market.
