Shell x CNOOC (CSPC Joint Venture)
50-50 joint venture established in 2000 between Shell and CNOOC, operating the CSPC petrochemical complex in Daya Bay, Huizhou. Phase 3 expansion approved in January 2025 adds a 1.6 million tonnes/year ethylene cracker and specialty chemicals facility, with total annual capacity reaching 2.2 million tonnes of ethylene.
