SoftBank x 1X Technologies (majority stake talks)
SoftBank Group is in talks to acquire a majority stake in 1X Technologies at a ~$6B valuation, according to The Information. The deal would rank among the largest investments in humanoid robotics. 1X previously sought $1B at $10B valuation but raised less than half. OpenAI had also considered acquiring 1X but abandoned those plans.
