Swiss Post's June 2022 news post says that after five years of hospital drone logistics since 2017, it decided to hand its drone project to Matternet at the end of December 2022, with Matternet taking over operations on Jan 1 2023. Swiss Post cites regulatory limits and lack of profitable scale under then-current technology, while noting existing customers (University Hospital Zurich, University of Zurich, Ticino EOC) may continue service with Matternet.
