Began career as an engineer at McDonnell Douglas Aerospace (later acquired by Boeing ), then transitioned to academia as Visiting Assistant Professor at Purdue and Assistant Professor at UT Austin, leading research in astrodynamics and space vehicle guidance, navigation, and control.
Held concurrent appointments at The Applied Physics Laboratory and The Aerospace Corporation. Joined Slingshot in July 2021 as Director of Astrodynamics and R&D. 2022 Moxie Award recipient. ~30 years of experience in industry and academia.
