Julien Chaumond

French engineer; co-founder and CTO of Hugging Face (founded 2016). Previously worked as an engineer within France's Ministry of Economy and at Moodstocks; holds a master's in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Stanford. Led the rapid PyTorch port of Google's BERT in 2018 that catalyzed Hugging Face's pivot to open-source ML infrastructure.
