Kurt Keutzer

Professor of the Graduate School in EECS at UC Berkeley and IEEE Fellow, conducting research in the Berkeley AI Research (BAIR) lab. His research focuses on making machine learning and AI algorithms computationally efficient. He began his career in industry developing efficient algorithms for logic synthesis (winning the DAC "Most Influential Paper of the 1980s" award) and became the first CTO of Synopsys.

He co-founded DeepScale (acquired by Tesla in 2019) and Nexusflow.ai (acquired by NVIDIA), and is currently a co-founder of Narada.ai and SigIQ.ai. He advised Forrest Iandola's PhD dissertation at Berkeley.
