Sebastian Braga

Founder of Braga Fresh (originally Braga Farms) in 1928 in Soledad, California, in the Salinas Valley. Arrived in South Monterey County in 1918 and started leasing land and building the farming business a decade later. He and his wife Josie purchased the Home Ranch in 1937, establishing what is now the Braga Home Ranch.

The operation grew into a three-generation family farming business, now led by grandson Rod Braga as CEO, expanding into organic produce, ready-to-eat products, and the Josie's Organics brand.
