Quadrupeds

Four-legged autonomous robots: inspection, defense, and consumer platforms.

Quadruped autonomy on DEPLOY scopes to four-legged ground robots across inspection (Boston Dynamics Spot, ANYbotics ANYmal), defense ground systems (Ghost Robotics Vision 60, Ghost Robotics 60 percent acquired by LIG Nex1 in July 2024), agile research and consumer platforms (Unitree Go2 + B2, Xiaomi CyberDog 2, Weilan AlphaDog), and emerging Chinese entrants (Deep Robotics X30 + Lite3). Verification posture is sharpest on the inspection cohort: Spot + ANYmal carry genuine autonomous-inspection deployments at primary-source depth (Consumers Energy, National Grid, Ontario Power Nuclear, Petrobras FPSO P-74). Ghost Vision 60 is semi-autonomous (operator-tasked), not standalone. Boston Dynamics Spot was migrated from form_factor=construction to quadruped on 2026-06-05 per the orthogonal-axes form_factor-is-machine-not-use-case discipline.
