Singapore autonomous-motor-vehicle rules (Road Traffic Act)
Singapore's Road Traffic (Autonomous Motor Vehicles) Rules 2017 (amended December 2022), made under the Road Traffic Act 1961 and administered by the Land Transport Authority (LTA). The rules provide an opt-in trial and operational authorization requiring a qualified safety driver, a CETRAN safety assessment, mandatory third-party insurance, and a data recorder (black box); provisional national AV standards sit in Technical Reference TR 68.
