Milrem Robotics footage of its THeMIS tracked uncrewed ground vehicles in a live-fire manned-unmanned teaming exercise with the Estonian Defence Forces. THeMIS is operator-controlled and teleoperated under crew supervision, not autonomous combat.

Under a January 2024 contract valued at over $200M with the UAE Ministry of Defence, 40 THeMIS UGVs (armed with 30mm M230LF and observe variants) and 20 Type-X RCVs are being delivered and integrated, with an experimentation and trial programme ongoing but not yet at full operational deployment. EDGE Group, which acquired a majority stake in Milrem in February 2023, serves as the operator.
