ADS crash report in San Francisco, CA involving a TOYOTA Highlander (NHTSA SGO 30610-15063)
A Zoox vehicle operating in autonomous mode was stopped behind traffic at a red signal on northbound [XXX] at [XXX] in San Francisco. At this time, a passenger vehicle (Vehicle 2) was reversing from a parking spot on the left side of the roadway. The Zoox vehicle honked at the approaching Vehicle 2, but Vehicle 2's rear end made contact with the Zoox vehicle's driver door. The Zoox vehicle operator then disengaged from autonomous mode. The Zoox vehicle sustained minor damage. No injuries were reported, and police were not notified.
