NOMAD UGV flips onto side when transport trailer ramp fails during Army exercise
During Project Convergence Capstone at Fort Irwin, a transport trailer ramp gave out, causing the NOMAD UGV to flip onto its side. Soldiers were able to right it without damage to the system, but the incident made them more careful about deployment. The Army-provided trailer showed wear from continued deployment.
