Waymo robotaxi blocked an ambulance responding to Austin mass shooting
A Waymo robotaxi picking up a passenger near the scene of a mass shooting on West Sixth Street in Austin stopped and completely blocked a street, preventing an ambulance from reaching the scene. An Austin police officer had to manually direct the vehicle away. Austin-Travis County EMS confirmed the vehicle briefly interfered with ambulance access.
