Verne is a Croatian robotaxi company launched under the Rimac Group, founded by Mate Rimac (founder/CEO of Rimac Automobili), Marko Pejkovic (CEO of Verne), and Adriano Mudri (Chief Design Officer). Verne launched Europe's first commercial robotaxi service in Zagreb in April 2026, powered by [Pony.ai](/companies/pony-ai)'s seventh-generation autonomous driving system, in partnership with [Uber](https://www.uber.com).
