Daimler Truck Holding AG x Innoviz Technologies
On Dec 2 2025 Daimler Truck / Innoviz announced that Daimler Truck and subsidiary Torc Robotics selected Innoviz Technologies as short-range LiDAR supplier for series production of SAE Level 4 autonomous Class 8 semi-trucks, supplying InnovizTwo Short-Range LiDAR for the autonomous Freightliner Cascadia program with Torc's virtual driver. The release says the companies will jointly develop sensors for commercial trucking and that Daimler Truck/Torc already selected a long-range LiDAR supplier separately.
