Devanthro is a Munich-based robotics company building Robody, a teleoperated humanoid robot designed for elderly care in private homes. Founded in 2018 from the Roboy student project at TU Munich, Devanthro became the first company in the world to deploy a humanoid robot into a private home (2024) and the first to care for a person with dementia at home (January 2026). The company partners with Charite Berlin, [University of oxford](/companies/oxford-university), and Diakonie on care pilots across Germany.
