HII x Path Robotics x GrayMatter Robotics (HYPR Program)

HII launched the High-Yield Production Robotics (HYPR) program with Path Robotics and GrayMatter Robotics to accelerate adaptive automation in naval shipbuilding, combining robotic welding, automated material movement, autonomous surface treatment, and quality checks into a coordinated production line. Proof-of-concept demonstrations are planned for 2026 with a full pilot expected in 2027, supporting both crewed and uncrewed naval platforms.
