Sweetgreen acquired Spyce and its Infinite Kitchen automated makeline technology in 2021 for approximately 70 million dollars and deployed it in 30 stores. The Infinite Kitchen can fulfill about 500 orders per hour and was a key technology initiative for Sweetgreens automation strategy.
