Founded in 2013 by Kuldar Väärsi in Tallinn, Milrem's flagship THeMIS UGV is a multi-role defense platform deployed in combat zones including Mali and Ukraine. The UAE defense conglomerate EDGE acquired a majority stake in the company, and over 150 THeMIS vehicles have been delivered to Ukraine under a Dutch-led defense support package.
