Wayve and Uber (Sep 3 2026) launched supervised autonomous rides in London on the Uber app, saying Londoners requesting UberX, Uber Electric, or Uber Comfort may be matched with a Wayve-powered electric Ford Mustang Mach-E at no extra cost, with a TfL-licensed safety driver onboard in the initial phase.
