Zeekr x Mobileye technology collaboration

Zeekr (极氪) is a Chinese premium electric vehicle manufacturer and subsidiary of Geely Automobile Holdings, founded in March 2021 and headquartered in Ningbo, Zhejiang. The company designs and manufactures electric vehicles with advanced driver-assistance systems, partnering with [Mobileye](/companies/mobileye) for its SuperVision ADAS platform and [Waymo](/companies/waymo) to produce the purpose-built Zeekr RT/Ojai robotaxi for autonomous ride-hailing. Zeekr listed on the NYSE under ticker ZK in May 2024.

Mobileye is an Israeli autonomous-driving and vision-technology company (founded 1999, Jerusalem), majority-owned by Intel and publicly traded on NASDAQ (MBLY). It is the leading supplier of camera-based ADAS through its EyeQ system-on-chip (over 200 million shipped) and builds a tiered driving-automation stack (SuperVision, Chauffeur, and the driverless Mobileye Drive) plus REM crowdsourced HD mapping; Mobileye Drive powers robotaxi and shuttle programs with partners including Volkswagen and Holon. In January 2026 Mobileye agreed to acquire the Israeli humanoid-robot startup [Mentee robotics](/companies/mentee-robotics) for about $900 million (announced at CES, expected to close in Q1 2026), its first entry into humanoid robotics. The automotive-perception-to-humanoid tech-transfer rationale and the 'physical-AI leader' positioning are the company's stated strategy rather than demonstrated outcomes.
