Co-founded LinkExchange with Tony Hsieh (sold to Microsoft, making Sequoia 17x in 17 months). Served as CFO and COO of Zappos from 2005 until its acquisition by Amazon in 2009. At Sequoia, led investments in Airbnb, DoorDash, Cobot, and others.
Named No. 1 on the Forbes Midas List in 2021. Succeeded Roelof Botha as co-steward alongside Pat Grady in November 2025.
