Ilyas Khan

Ilyas Khan KSG (born 1962) is a British technologist and businessman, founder of Cambridge Quantum Computing (2014) and founding CEO of Quantinuum, formed by the December 2021 merger of Cambridge Quantum with Honeywell Quantum Solutions. A merchant banker by training, he spent two decades in Hong Kong (1989–2009) and founded Stanhill Capital Partners in 1998.

He is the largest individual shareholder in Quantinuum after Honeywell, holding ~15% equity. Since 2023 he has served as Vice-Chairman and Chief Product Officer. He was founding chairman of the Stephen Hawking Foundation (2015–2018) and is a Fellow of St Edmund's College, Cambridge.
