Chief Technology Officer of BlackSky (NYSE: BKSY), responsible for the design and execution of BlackSky's end-to-end space, ground systems, and software architecture. Oversees day-to-day constellation operations and the strategic advancement of the company's real-time monitoring products. Joined BlackSky in 2015 following the acquisition of OpenWhere, the on-demand location services firm where he developed the core algorithms that inform many of BlackSky's AI and machine learning innovations.
Serves on the George Mason University Dean's Advisory Board and the Center for Mathematics and AI. Holds a BS in Mathematics from Virginia Tech and MS and PhD degrees in Mathematics from George Mason University.
