Norway Act on Testing of Self-Driving Vehicles (LOV-2017-12-15-112)

Norway's Act on the testing of self-driving vehicles (Lov om utproving av selvkjorende kjoretoy, LOV-2017-12-15-112), passed 15 December 2017 and in force 1 January 2018, with implementing regulation Forskrift 2017-12-19-2240. Statens Vegvesen (the Norwegian Public Roads Administration) grants permits; operation requires a safety driver or controlled-area conditions, insurance, and technical documentation.
