HMND 01 Alpha wheeled humanoid robot deployed at Schaeffler Group's Herzogenaurach production facility, Germany, under a binding phased RaaS agreement announced May 2026.

Herzogenaurach is Schaeffler's headquarters city in Bavaria. The Herzogenaurach site is the first of two German facilities in the initial deployment phase, with robots assigned to a live production box-handling use case starting December 2026. The rollout runs through June 2027 across the two German sites.

Under the agreement, Humanoid (SKL Robotics Ltd.) will deploy a four-digit number of wheeled HMND 01 Alpha units across Schaeffler's global production network by 2032, using a RaaS model that includes 24/7 technical support, fleet management via the KinetIQ framework, and ongoing hardware updates. Schaeffler is also a preferred actuator supplier to Humanoid, covering over 50 percent of HMND 01 joint requirements through 2031.
