CPSC: Aiper recalls Seagull Pro cordless robotic pool vacuum cleaners over adapter overheating burn and fire hazards (2025)
On March 20, 2025, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced that Aiper recalled its Seagull Pro (Model ZT6001) cordless robotic pool vacuum cleaners because the large current adapter can overheat, posing burn and fire hazards. CPSC reported about 32,660 units recalled in the U.S. (plus about 2,530 in Canada), with 19 reports of the adapter melting, smoking, or catching fire and 5 reports of property damage; no injuries were reported.
